Sir R. Heaton Rhodes, Minister of Defence, who has been in Christchurch for the past few days, will return to Wellington on Tuesday. Mr. A. B. Gladding, who for the past eleven years has been a departmental manager with the Farmers' Union Trading Company, Auckland, has, been appointed manager of tho recently-formed Farmers' Instituto Supply Company, Ltd., Wellington.
