MELBOURNE,"This Day. Armstrong, the cricketer, was presented with a testimonial of £2700 by Mr. W., M.. Hughes a,t. the Town Hall. Replying to the tributes, Armstrong definitely repeated that, he is retiring from international and inter-State cricket. His criticism of England was meant for the best, but it was taken by litany for the worst.
