COURT CASES

In the Magistrate's Court yesterday, Michael O'Connor was fined 50s and costs for using an unclean vehicle for the carriage of milk, and £5 and costs for using soap to block'a hole in a milk can. Four youths named' Robert William Childs, John Stephen Dunn, Charles X M'Avoy, and John Columb were fined £5 and ordered to pay costs on charges of having caused damage to property belong, ing to Edward Samuel Russell, of Red Rooks. Cases dealt with yesterday afternoon were as follow:— A. T. M'Williams, on a charge of illtreating a dog, was fined 40s and costs. On the complaint of Archibald Cooper, Andrew Larsen was fined £3 for assault, and bound over to keep the peace for six months. .
