March .31, 10 a.m.) LONDON, 50th March. \ Sir Joseph Cook, Australian High Commissioner, visited the Smitlvfield markets and inspected a special display of Victorian lambs and mutton. He afterwards toured the market; and carefully notod the difference in the appearance of Australian and New Zealand frozen beef and Argentine, chilled beef. Sir Joseph Cook was much impressed by , the attractive appearance of Argentine beef. 'It was better dressed, and more neatly clothed than the Australian. He thinks the Australian exporters should appoint representatives .to follow these goods to their destination and acquaint themselves with marketing conditions.
