SHORTT'S THEATRE.
"In "Conflict," the feature now showing at Shcrtt's Theatre, there are many thrilling scenes, some ,of which are connected with tlie dynamiting of a log jam. Tlie picture grips with. its suspense almost from tho first flash. Its climax is built around the dynamiting of the log-jam on the swollen waters of the great North woods, and the succeeding flood of logs .and water down tho valley, sweeping , everything in its path. The "big punch" comes when the heroine, Priscilla Dean, rides down the bank abreast the flood, leaps, perilously from log to log through the flow, and rescues her unconscious sweetheart just as he is about to be swept over a cataract.
