TAIHAPE COUNCIL ENDORSES PROTEST

TAHIAPE, This Day. In connection with the Bishop Liston episode, the Taihape Borough Council, at last night's meeting, passed the following resolution, without a dissentient vote: "That this council heartily congratulates Mr. Gunson, Mayor of the City of Auckland, for his protest against the disloyalty expressed at a public meeting in that city, and that tho Town Clerk be instructed to convey to Mr. Gunson the council's approval of his action."
