TE ARO SCHOOLS

Tho Te Aro School Committee met recently when the headmaster (Mr. M'Kenzie) reported favourably on the work being done to further the physical welfare of the children. Particular mention was mado of the work of the dental clinic, and of the special drill arranged by the school medical authorities for those pupils suffering from physical disability. The committee put on record its appreciation of the good work being carried out by tho Department in the care of the general development of the children. It recognised that the caro now being given to the junior cliildrmi would ■ bring about v, iianltuiai' and haraier people in the future.
