SHORTT'S THEATRE.
Another double-star programme commenced a sea-son at Shortt's Theatre today, and will continue during the week. Bert Lytell, associated with Virginia Velli, Brirhsley Shaw, Eva -Gordon, and others, has the role of a bridesgroom without a job in "A Trip,to Paradise," a, Maxwell Karger production from the Metro studios. An amateur safebreaker through poverty and necessity, "Curley" Flyim has a trip to "God's Court" when under the influence of ether after an accident, and finds a iiew hope in life when he awakens. The Selznick feature "Worlds Apart," featuring Eugene O'Brien, is the story of a cynical misanthrope's transformation. An exciting rescue from a river is one of the incidents of the drama's development. There are other supports as well.
