EXECUTION OF MOPLAHS.

Seventeen Moplahs were sentenced under martial law to be hanged at Coimbatore, making the third batch to be executed in that town:
' It is officially stated that the political situation in the United Provinces is rapidly deteoriorating, and the slightest provocation might .bring outbreaks. Over two thousand demobilised soldiers are being enlisted as extra polif.e for six months. v |
