TIMARU, This Day. Early this morning the fire brigade was called to Wai-iti-road, where Holmwood House, owned by Mr. E. R. Guinness, and occupied by Mrs. Lord as a boai'dingbouse, was found to be in flames. The brigade worked for two ■jiours and a-half before the flames were extinguished, and in that time,extensive damage had been done. THe fire apparently started in -the kitchen, but its origin is a mystery. All the inmates escaped safely. The,building was an old wooden structure of twelve rooms.,
