STRAND THEATRE.
An attractive programme is being,presented at the Strand theatre this week. "Serenade" is a dramatic story, well directed, splendidly produced, and acted with force by a strong cast headed by Miriam Cooper and George Walsh. Miss Cooper's work in "The Oath" will bo ■well remembered, and she is seen to even better advantage in the present picture. The second feature is the powerful dramatic picture "The Branded Woman," •with the popular Norma Talmadge in the lead. The'third episode of the .popular serial "The Lure of tbe' Circus/ .is full of exciting incidents. ■
