The Gore Racing Club's Meeting was continued to-day in cold and showery weather, with a poor attendance. Results :— '
Novice Riders' Handicap, of 150 soys; six furlongs.—Morse Signal, 8.2, 1; Liqueur, 8.4, 2; Euena, 7.13, 3. Scratched: Soldier's Pride. Won by a length. Time, lmin 15 4-ssec. , ■ Progressive Trot,, of 145 soys ; one and a-half miles. —Kilmarnock,. scr, :. 1; Friendship, ecr, t2 ; Harold's Ti'easure, scr, 3. Scratched : Fashion Queen and Moreen. Won by five lengths. Time, 3min 37sec.
. Autumn Handicap, of 250 soys; one mile and a. distance.T-Corn Rigs, 7J5, l'j Silent King, 8.1, 2; Lady Blissful, 7.11, 3. Scratched: Palamon" and 'Prinium. Won by two lengths and a-half. Time, lmin 58 l-ssec.
A cable message from Melbourne states that Mr. Greenwood purchased a bay colt by Comedy King—Lace Front, for 525 guineas,at Falkiner's yearling sales at Noorilim.
