The Bank of New Zealand, Produce Department, has received the following advice from its London office tinder date 7th March :—"The -sales have opened .with moderate competition and large attendance of buyers. The demand is moderate and the market ha6 declined l£d per lb for merinos and hslf-breds, Id per- Ib for fine crossbreds, £d per lb for medium crossbreds and gd per lb for coarse crossbrede."
