THE OPENING DA^E

M. POINCARE TO ATTEND FIRST

SESSION

<ON!T«D PRISS ASSOCIATION.—COPTRHJHr.)

(Received March 8, 9 a.m.) '

PARIS', 7th March,

The Matin states definitely that the Genoa Conference opens on the 10th April, the Italian Government having consented to that date.

M. Poincare, desiring to show the great importance which France attaches to the Conference, will attend, but probably only for the opening session, in consequence of M. Millerand's absence

in Algeria.

• The proceedings will be suspended during the Easter holidays.
