About 4. o'clock this, morning a fire broke out,in the premises of 0. R. K. dimming,/ coachbuilder, in York-street. The premises are next door to the fire brigade station; nevertheless the fire had a strong hold before the alarm was given, and the building and plant were completely destroyed. The insurances are: On the machinery, £150 in the Royal Office; on building, £40 in the State Fire Office; and on the plant, £500 in the United Office. The building is owned by Hurrell Bros., of Hawera. The origin of the fire is unknown.
