EXCHANGE RATES ON LONDON
The following rates have been agreed to. by all the bauks, and took effect as from to-day,:—
Buying.—On demand, 5s per cent, discount; ,30 days, 15s per cent, discount; 60 days, 25s per cent, discount; 90 days, 35s per cent discount. Currencies be-, tween demand and 30 days to be charged proportionately. The former rates were, demand, par; 30 days; 10s discount; 60 days, 20s discount; 90 days, 40s discount.
Selling.—On demand, 25s per cent, premium.; 30 days, 15s per cent, premium ; 60 days, 5s per cent, premium; 90* days, par; telegraphic, 35s per cent. The former rates were, demand, 37s 6d premium; 30 days, 27a 6d premium; 60 days, 17s 6d premium; 90 days, 10s premium; telegraphic, 50s premium..
