(Received February 24, 9 a.m.)
PARIS, 23rd February,
Tho Petit Parisien, referrftig to the conference pending between M. Poincare and Mr. Lloyd George, says that agreements have alreadyy been reached on the following points—The Peace Treaty reparations will not be discussed at Genoa, The League of Nations will deal with all questions not dealt with by the Genoa Conference, which will be postponed for several weeks, The Soviets' participation will not lead to legal recognition by France, but an economic agreement may be concluded in order to establish commercial relations.
The principal point of divergence between France and Britain is recognition of the Soviet. Britain desires immediate recognition, arid France favours a conditional'postponed recognition.
LONDON, 22nd Febi<uary. It is expected that Mr, Lloyd George will meet M. Poincare, Premier of France, at a French Channel port during the week-end and discuss the Genoa agenda.
