ARRIVALS.

February 24—Kapiti, a.s. (10.5 a.m.), 242 tons, Sawyers, from Wanganui.

February 24—Waverley, s.s. .(1.60 p.m.), 157 tons'; Brlgden, from Patea.

DEPARTURES.

February 24—Wainui, s.s. (noon), 684 tone, Seweli; for Picton.

February 24—Westmoreland, s.s. (12.50 p.m.), 9512 tons, Barnett, for London. February 24—Hawera, s.s. (2.15 p.m.), 174 tons, M'Kinnon, for Patea.

THE ULIMAROA.

'The Ulimaroa is to leave Sydney to-morrow for Wellington,.and is due here- next Wednesday. The Ulimaroa is to ■ leave Wellington on the 3rd March for Sydney.

COLLIERS FROM NEWCASTLE.

The Union Company's steamers- Kaikorai and Kawatiri are due at' Wellington on Monday with coal from Newcastle. The Kaiwarra left Newcastle last night with coal for Auckland.

THE COASTAL SERVICE,

The Wingatui has been delayed by bad weather, and will now not arrive at Wellington before to-morrow from Auckland. It la hoped to despatch her to-morrow for Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff.

HURUNUI'S LOADING.

The Hurunui is due at Wellington to-morrow from Lytteltou, to complete her cargo. She is to sail from here towards the end of next week for London.

RUAPEHU'S DEPARTURE,

The departure of the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Ruapehu, from Wellington for London, has been postponed till noon on the ot!i March. The Ruapehu is. at present at Auckland, and is expected here from Auckland and Gisborne on- the 6th March.

CANADIAN GOVERNMENT STEAMERS.

The Canadian Spinner is due at Auckland about the loth March, and at Wellington about the 20th March from > Tew York. She is later to proceed to Dunedin and Australian ports. The Canadian Cruiser is expected on the Xew Zealand coast about the Bth March from Australian ports 'to load for New York Boston, and Halifax. The 'Canadian Contractor is at present loading at New York lor New Zsaland ports. She is due here in April.

PORT CURTIS LOADING.

The C. and D. liner Port Curtis is to leave Nelson on Tuesday next for Wanganni, continuing Homeward loading on the New Zealand coast. She is. due at Wellington about the 6th March, to complete her cargo, and will sail from here about the Bth March for Lon- > don, via, Australian ports and Durban.

CARGO, FUOM NEWCASTLE,

The Koromiko is scheduled to leave New. castle on the 3rd March for Wellington, Lyttelton, Oamaru, and Dunedin.

KAURI TO BE RECOMMISSIONED. The Union Company's steamer Kauri is to be reeommlssioned at Lyttelton next week in lieu of the Koromiko, which is shortly to undergo annual survey. The Kauri has "been axed to load at Timaru and Lyttelton for Auckland and Wellington.

WAIWEHA FROM AUSTRALIA.

The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company advises that the Waiwera was^ to leave Newcastle to-day, for Picton, to commence Homeward loading.'

■ THE MELBOURNE SERVICE.

The Paloona is to leave Melbourne on the 2Sth February for Wellington direct. She is due here on the 6th March, and will sail the same day for Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff, on the return trip to Melbourne.

The Katoa is due there on. Tuesday from Auckland, and will sail on Tuesday for. southern ports.

The Corinna is expected at Wellington on Sunday from Lyttelton, to load for New Plymouth.

The Kamona is at present loading timber at Greymouth for Wellington. She f» expected here about Wednesday next.
