(Received Feßruary 24, 2.30 p.m.)

LONDON, 23rd February. In the House of Commons, replying to questions, Mr. Lloyd George said that there was no indication of a desire on the part of overseas Governments to hold an Imperial Economic Conference with a view to carrying out the'scheme of economic co-operation agreed upon at the Imperial Conference of 1917-18. Therefore there would be no advantage, in the Imperial Government at present summoning a conference.
