CAPETOWN, 23rd February.
Violence is increasing in the East and Central Rand, tho campaign of intimidation making it almost impossible to continue operations at the mines. The Chamber of has intimated to the Government that unless firm measuros are taken to stop intimidation of tho men desiring to ictuin io work, tho attempt to run the mines will havo to be abandoned, and the mines will be ruined.
