An attempt was made co-day to salvage some of the blocks of stone in the hull of th» wrecked auxiliary, scow Magic, but the work on the auxiliary schooner Kohi,, which made the £rtp to Pencarrow for the purpos*. was hampered by defective slings, and the vessel had to return to port.
