STATE SCHOOLS
RE-OPENED TO-DAY. The State Schools in the Wellington education district re-opened to-day and the hearty of the children may, or may not have been gladdened at the fact. It is possible, though, that many worried parents may have breathed a ■ tjiank'fuj sigh of relief. A new"school. opened for the first time was that at Miramar South. This Bchool has accommodation^ for 320 pupils, and to-day 270 wera enrolled.
