A certain amount of dredging will have to be done, and the Hapai will be able to get on with this part of the scheme in from six to nine months, when she has finished the work on which she is now engaged. Both Mr. ]5.. R. Davis and Mr. M. H. Wynyard emphasised the urgency of the need for a new wharf, and the deputy chairman agreed.
