The Now Zealand Golf Association is meeting with excellent support from the clubs in the master of their proposal, to raise a fund for tho purpose of enabling the New Zealand Open Champion, E. S. Douglas, to go Homo and compete in the next British Opeji Championship at Sandwich, "and the council hopes thut all club members will support their clubs by assist- j. ing. Douglas was tho winner of tho New : Zealand Open Championship in 1913, j 1914. 1919, and 1921. From early in 1915 i until tho beginning of 1919 ho was on I active service. !
