SOLE BROS.' CIRCUS.
Sole Bros.' Circus and Menagerie wil appear in Wellington on Boxing D«JT. It is a real travelling circus and mm* gerie, with its cages of lions, tigers, [panthers, leopards, bears, hyenas, ]■>. 'guflTs, wolves, kangaroos, and monkeys. It is. an Australian representative show, organised by tha present owners in Sydney in 1880—forty-one years ago. Its huge marquee, capable of holding 3000 people, is covered in throughout, and is both wind and water proof. The new organisation includes artists who hive gained a big reputation1 in the principal centres abroad, the majority of whom hay© recently made their initial appes#» anoe in this Dominion under the Sole regime. This year's imported stars include some remarkable performers, and they are said to submit a programme of thrills that set all previously accord* ed dangerous acts at naught. The circus doors open at 7.15, and the programme commences at 8 p.m. There will b« a special matinee oa Tuesday, 27th December.
