KING'S THEATRE.
The screen version of "Mother o' Mine," at the King's Theatre is well worth seeing. Kipling's poem is known to', everyone who reads, the spirit of the poem is known to all who know the love of a good mother, and it in that spirit skilfully conveyed by the producer, Thomas H. Ince, that makes the film so great a success. The cast of the play includes Lloyd Hughes, Befcty Ross Clarke, and Betty Blythe. A special orchestral programme is given each evening, one of the novelty items being the reproduction of the song "Mother o' Mine" by gramophone and magnavox.
Commencing at the King's on Friday night will be the Edward S. Sheldon play, "Salvation Nell," a drama of Now York's Eastside. Pauline Starke is said to give a splendid characterisation ot the name part, and is associated with Joseph King as Jim Platt.
