DAME CLARA BUTT.
The announcement made by Meeffls. J. and N. Tait that arrangements have been made to allow of I>ame Butt and Mr. Kennerley Huinford retm-ning to Wellington and giving a> special concert in the Town Hall on Thursday, !9tfo Decomber, has created quite a stir in musical circles, and those who were unfortunate in being unable. to gain admission during the recent season will now have 'an opportunity of hearing these gifted singers. The giving of_ this extra concert entails much inconvenience to Dame Butt and Mr. Rumford, and added expense to J. and N. Tait, but the concert will meet with appreciation and the fact that reserved seats may be obtained at a modest sum will ensure.a heavy booking. The box plan of reserved seats opened at the Bristol this morning, and after Saturday seats may bo reserved -at the Blue Bird Confectionery,, njxt thg QxjuA .Qr«Bi How*.
