CREDIT WHERE IT IS DUE
A few days ago complaint was made in the House of Representatives about the non-delivery of telegrams to wellknown people because their addresses were not accurately given. Mr. L. M. Isitt, who made the complaint, men-'1 tioned the case of a letter which had failed to reach the Hon. D. Buddo, in consequence of his removal from Kaiapoi to Christchurch, and another : addressed '"Mr., Poyntori,' S.M:',v, Auckland," also returned to the sender.
Mrs. M. M. Stablefs, of Hawkerstreet, writes to The Post quoting her own experience of, a contrary kind. A few days ago she received a letter from a gentleman in India who had seen her signature to a magazine article,' and wrote on the envelope, "Margaret M. Stables, New Zealand. Please' forward;" This letter, she states, was delivered immediately the mail arrived, and she expresses, the desire to see justice done to the Post Office for its promptness in finding the address.
