RESUMING WORK
DECISION OF GREY DISTRICT MINERS.
(II miatlfl.—Fllll AIIOCIATMN.) GREYMOUTH, 7th December. ' Meetings of. the State, -Blackball, and Roa miners were-held to-day. The men decided in favour of a resumption of work. The Blackball and Roa men x will resume to-morrow, but the State miners will be unable to resume till Monday, as the horses have first to be got back to the mine.
'. It is reported that Mr. Ben Davidson, president of the Miners' Federation, consulted with the Alliance of Labour last week. The decision,, of the Alliance was conveyed to the miners' unions, and it is significant that many of those who decided to strike are now deciding to • return to work.
