COMMUNITY CLUB
OPENING NIGHTS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.^
The opening of the Community Club at Buokle-street, which \ has been established by the National Defence League of New Zealand for the use of members of His Majesty's Defenoe Forces, has been fixed for to-morrow and Saturday evenings. The hostesses, who have undertaken to staff the club from now on, extend a hearty invitation to all Senior Cadets to be present to-morrow evening when a bright entertainment, commencing at 7.45, will be given, and supper will also be provided. Saturday will be the Territorials' night, when all Territorials will be welcomed, and a bright musical programme will be presented and supper provided. It is hoped that as many Senior Cadets and Territorials as possible will visit the club 6n their respective evenings. The club is divided, off into two portions, one of which will bo used solely by Territorials, and tho other by Senior Cadets. These,are being comfortiably but not elaborately furnished, and a kitoh'en has been established in tho centre from which trainees will be able to purchase refreshments as they desireOn Sundays the club will be open from 2 to 10 p.m.
