At «ths Addington market there waa an ia\:erage yarding in allw sections of stock eicepting. fat lambs, which were in over-supply, and fat sheep, of which there was a smaller entry. There was a decided drop in lamb values, and a alight steadyin^-up in. the price of mutton, while beet showed a further drop. Store Sheep.—Forward wethers sold satisfactorily, but hoggets in the-. wool were in little demand. Sound failingmouthed woolly ewes and lambs 5s lid (all counted), 2 and 4-tooth shorn ewes 10s, inferior 4 and 6-tooth wethers 6s tooth wethers lie to 12s 9d, ordinary 4 and 6-tooth shorn wethers 8s Id to 10s, in. ferior 4 and 6-tooth wethers 6s Id to 7s 9d, good mixed sex 'woolly hoggets 13s, ordinary woolly wether hoggets 3s Bd. ,■ g Fat Lambs.—There were 2230 penned, much in excess of butchers' requirements, i There was another drop in prices, which were1 the poorest for a number of years. At the opening values; averaged 4d to 4£d p,er lb, with a few exceptional pens a ahade over, and ,these figures eased towards the end of the sale. Buaners £i 17s 6d, good vealers £3 2s 6d, medium £2 10s, good calves 13s' to £1 2s 6d, small 6ft to 12s 6d. Store Cattle.—The demand for big' cattle was. slack, but youag cattle sold well. Four and five-year steeis £4 15s to £6 16s, 2i to 3-years £4 5s to £5 8s 6d, yearling and 18-months 37s 6d, yearling heifers £1 8s to, £2 9s, aged ordinary cowe £2 2s 6d, good bulls £4 ss. Dairy 'Cattle.—The market was slack. Second. and third calvers £7 to £14, extra good springing heifers £19 Ss, springing heifers £7 to £11, aged cows and cotto in milk 15s to £4.

Fat Pigs.—The demand waa a shade better except for heavy baconers. Choppers £2 to £I. los, light baooners £3 5s to £3 15s, heavy £t to £4 5»; average price per lb 6d to 6Jd. Light porkers £2 7e to £2 12s 6d, heavy £2 15s to £3 3s, average price per lb 8d to 9d. Store Pigs.—Medium stores £l'l2s to £1 18s, small 18s to 31 10s, good weaner« 169 6d to 225. . ,
