Communist deputies in the Prussian Parliament asked the President to report on the hunger strike of political prisoners. \ One speaker, failing to secure a hearing, seized water, which he poured out over opposing deputies. Pandemonium followed, the President ringing and flourishing his bell, which another Communist seized and flung at the Conservative leader. The police finally cleared the Chamber.
