CONVOKED
FIGHTING CONTINUES.

The General Secretary of the League of Nations has received a telegram from the British Government, signed by Mr. Lloyd ' George, requesting the convocation of the League's Council in order to consider forthwith the Albanian situation and to draw up measures in the event of the Serbian Government either refusing to execute its engagements under the pact or postponing them. The Council will be convoked almost immediately at Geneva or Paris. (Received November 9, 9.30 a.m.) PARIS, Bth November. Advices from Durazzo state that fighting between the Albanians and JugoSlavs continues. The latter have occupied nearly the whole of Upper Albania. It ia reported that Alessio is also occupied, leaving^ Scutari isolated. The fall of the latter appears to be imminent.
