Tacker, was. completely destroyed by fire about a quarter to 5 o'clock this mtening. The building had been occupied by T&r. John Joseph, and his sister, Mrs. E. Fabian, and her two and a-half-year-old d'aught«r. Jfr. Joseph ha.? bpen working at Foxton, and was riot pres.emt in -the house at the time. Abciut half-past 3 Mrs; Fabian arose to prepare some food for Jier child, returning to bedi, and about an hour later-^wakened, to find the place in flames. She and the child hidl only time to esca-pe in their night aflire, and nothing was saved. The house was insured for £600, and Mr. Joseph's furair ture, tools, etc., 4>r £326.
