SKATING.
There was a large attendance at the Colosseum Skating Rink on Saturday evening, when the prizes won at the recent carnival were presented by the manager, Mr. Power. In addition to the ordinary prize-list, Mr. A. Beale was awarded first prize for the most comical character. The one-mile pursuit race held during! the evening, was won by Mr. H. Greenbank, of Wellington, after an exciting contest. The usual four sessions were announced for to-day. ",
