There was a large gathering of players and friends at Khandallah last Saturday afternoon, on the occasion of the opening of tho Khandallah Lawn Tennis Club by the patron, Mr. J. G. Smitk. Mr. Smith congratulated .the club on its sound financial position, and expressed tho hope that the coming season would bo most successful. ■ ' ■ .
