PROFESSIONAL ORCHESTRA.

The outstanding work ait last night's performance by the Professional Orchestra was Grieg's pianoforte "Concerto," the soloist being Miss Blanche Crump. The task was undoubtedly an ambitious one, but the soloist gave an intelligent and most enjoyaible interpretation of the work. The orchestra, under Mt. Henry Moschini, did all that, was required of it in the way of accompaniment. Of the orchestral items, Tchaikowsky's "Mairche Slav," was one of the most popular, while an orchestral "arrangement ot Donizetti's sextette from "Lucia, di Lammerinoor" also met with much approvid. There were also played Beethoven's "Fidelio" and Yon Blon's *'Traum'bild," the laitter of which was repeated in Tea-pome to an enthusiastic demand for an encore.
