flic Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from its London office under dato 7th September:—"Taltow: The market has advanced 8s per cwt for better qualities, and 4s per cwt for inferior. Current quotationsGood mutton, 58s to 59s per cwt; beef and mixed, 57s to 58« per cwt; gut, 40s to 49s per cwt." ■ ' New, Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram from their London house under date 7th instant:—"Tallow:'We quote present s.y>tH values for the following descriptions :— I'ino mutton, £2 18a 6d per ewt; good beef, £2 18a per cwt; mixed, £2 11s per owt; market strong. Frozen Lamb: Is Oid per lb., Frozen Beef:' Hindquarters, sjd per lb; forequarters, 33d pcr1 lb; market weak. New Zealand Butter: £ia per owt; small demand, Cheese: £5 12s to £5 15s per cwt; market'dull, with downward 1 tendency."
