There - was a good attendance, ■ and the iadmirable display of daffodils;was,greatly admired.' The numerous new varieties aroused much interest; '' "''■" " Messrs. T. Waugh and Sons, of Lower Hutt, ,;t00.k.,a1l the. prizes .in ,tha open section, securing 26 first and 3 second prizes, while Mr. Robert Gibson; of Manaja, netted one first and pne-^epond award. Two other exhibitors, Mrs. J. B. Finlay (Day's Bay) and Mr. G. A. Ol^rk each secured <3he fitgt prize and one second award went to Mr. George H. Smith (Kavori).
