A LONDON OPINION
Mr. A. Williamson, chairman of the Australian Estates and Mortgage Co., recently speaking in London on the subject oi_ Bawra, said: "The real object of the 'realisation of the portion of the car-ried-over Australian wool belonging to Bawra must be to benefit the "owners of that wool, and as these identical people, are the owners of the new clip, it would be perfectly suicidal to so press the sale of this Bawra wool as to inflict serious damage on the same people through thereby retarding the sale of the new clip." . ■ . Ho tnought that in the' next twelve months a great increase in demand would be possible. Ordinarily the Continent carried a stock of 1,500,000 bales; now there was none. "Once the glut of highpriced manufactured goods is removed, which more than anything else has blocked the inflow of orders, we might see the whole aspect very rapidly changed. Let confidences be re-established, and the mere process of restoring the normal stock position would itself go far to work, in the present state of things."
