To-morrow morning at ■ 10 o'clock th# Wellington Competitions. Society will commence its fourth annual festival at tiie Town Hall and Concert Chamber.) Owing to the laTge number, of. entries both halls' will be fully employed the whole season. Recalls in the various classes will be .held in the main hall every evening, thus , ensuring: a varied programme of' high-olaBS items; On Tuesday evening the official opening Vill take place, when His' Excellency the Governor-General will be preßent. Judging from the entries received^ the standard of work by various.competitors will be much higher ; than in former yean, and the society is assured of a successful season.
