QUEEN'S THEATRE.
Anna Q. Niisson heads the cast in the new Realart feature, "Soldiers of Fortune," which commenced at the Queen's Theatre yesterday. Full of action, powerful in its love interest, rich in clean humour—it is a story of a South American republic by a famous writer of modern fiction—Richard Harding Davis! The Americans in charge of a mining concession eventually come to be the leading figures in the State of Olancho, and their fight for life, /freedom, and their mining concession makes a story pulsating with thrills, romance, and action. Besides Anna Q. ,Nilsson, the strong supporting cast includes Norman Kerry, Pauline Stark, Wilfred Lucas. "Marriage for Convenience," written especially f6r the star, Catherine Calvert, by E. Lloyd Sheldon, displays a wonderful ingenuity, in combining story with scenic beauty, the latter being a lavish outlay of effect. Miss Calvert plays the part of a southern society belle whose family's motto is "Death before dishonour," and is quite the best picture that Miss Calvert—who has the support of a cast of capable players—has appeared in. The third episode of "King of the Circus," the popular Eddie Polo serial, will be screened during the afternoons only. The box plan is at the theatre.
