STAR BOATING CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING.
The annual meeting of the Star. Boating Club was held last evening in the clubhouse. Mr. I. G. Duncan, vice-pre-sident, was in the chair. Tie report and balance-sheet (already published) were adopted. A donation of £25 was received from Mr. C.,A. Knapp. Messrs. W. S. Wheeler and A. H. Hollis were elected life honorary members. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Sir Francis Bell; vice-president, Mr. I. G. Duncan; captain, Mr. R. L. Evatt; deputy-captain, Mr. E. Johnston; committee, Messrs. A. D. Bayfield, S. G. Cowles, C. H. Mitchell, J. E. Widdop, D. M'Grath, R. N. Wakelin, W. P. M'Gowan, W. P. Robb, W. P. Shorland, and E. Diehl; Club Race Committee, Messrs. F. G. 0. Boon, T. <F. M'Kenziei and D. M'Grath; Club Match Committee, Messrs. A. D. Bayfield, R. C. Evatt, and R. N. Wakelin; Clubhouse Committee, Messrs. I. G. Hart, J. W. Pringle, A. V. Gordon, G. C. Sherwood, A. N. Wakelin, W. P. Robb, and W. P. Shorland.
