THE KING'S MESSAGE OF SYMPATHY

LONDON, 25th August!
The King has sent a message to AirMarshal Sir H. M. Trenchard, Chief of the Air Staff: "I am shocked and grieved, to hear of the terrible disaster which has resulted in the loss of many valuable lives, American and British, with whose relatives I deeply sympathise." •
