HOSPITAL BOARD

The Hospital Board met yesterday afternoon, when there were present': Messrs. F. Castle (chairman)) the Revs. H. Van Staveren and Dr. J. Kennedy Elliott, Messrs. G. J. -Petherick; C. H. Chapman,' G. Nash, J. W Butler, A. J. M'Curdy, S. H. Underwood, J., Glover, A. R. Homblow, J. W. M'Ewari, W. T. Cotton, and E. Windley, and Mesdames Snow and M'Vicar. \

The Finance Committee reported that the order of the Supreme Court, appointing the Hospital Board trustee of the' Wellington Hospital Convalescent Fund,, with cheque for £718 14s 3d, had besn received. It was recommended that the fund be Jwpt as a separate account, that £700 be invested in inscribed stock for ten years at 6 per cent, per annum, and that a cheque for the balance, amounting to £18 14s 3d, bo forwarded to the Wellington ' Convalescent Home, Oriental Bay. The recommendation was adopted.
