The contract of Messrs. Stewart and Lloyds, Ltd. (£727), has been accepted for the steam pipes, valves, etc., for the pumping station. Other tenders were received from Messrs. J. Chambers and Son, Witting Bros., Ltd., J. J. Niven and Co., ,Ltd., and Blair, Reed, and Co., Ltd.
