HARBOUR BOARD SUPPLIES
Steel reinforcements for the Pipiteastreet wharf are to be supplied under contract by Messrs. A. D, Riley, whose tender (at £4332 17s 6d) has been accepted. Other tenders were received from Messrs. Brown and Dureau, Ltd., Cory,, Wright, and Salmon, J. Duthie and Co., Ltd., Richardson, M'Cabe, and Co., Ltd., 0. M. Smith and Co.; Ltd., Briscoe and Co., Ltd., Gollin and Co., Pty.; Ltd., Stanley E. Green, Ltd., Witting Bros., Ltd., W. Cooke and Co., Ltd., and R. W. Cameron and Co.
The contract of Messrs. Stewart and Lloyds, Ltd. (£727), has been accepted for the steam pipes, valves, etc., for the pumping station. Other tenders were received from Messrs. J. Chambers and Son, Witting Bros., Ltd., J. J. Niven and Co., ,Ltd., and Blair, Reed, and Co., Ltd.
