PRIMARY SCHOOLS
TRIAL GAMES.
A meeting, of the Management Committee of the .Wellington Primary Schools' Rugby Union, held thui week, decided that ■ a representative trial game be played on the Kilbirnie Reserve, or, should that ground be unavailable, on the Lyall , Bay ground tomorrow aftemodn. All boys 'nominated must be on the ground ready to play at 3 o'clock sharp. Only town boys will participate in this game, -as a similar "try-out" game will be played on the Recreation Ground at Petone, for boys nominated,from the'Hutt Valley schools.
; After these games have been played teams will be selected to represent - the City and the Valley in a further game to take place next Wednesday. The team to represent Wellington in the animal tournament at .Wanganui will be chosen on Wednesday evening.
Petone, District High School defeated Petone West, in a senior B grade match, by 9 points to nil.
