HEMP RETURNS
' The Chief Eemp Grader, Mr. W. H.. Ferris, reports that the total liumber of bales of hemp graded at the ports of the Dominion during July was 2459, as compared; with 5503 for the corresponding period of last year, a decrease of 3044 i bales: For ,12 months ended 31st July, the number of bales graded was 67,776, as compared with 94,622 for the previous 12 months, a decrease of 26,846 bales. The total number of bales of tow graded for the 12 months ended 31st July was 15,225, as compared with 21,008 for the previous 12 months, a decrease of 5783 bales. ' i
