DIRECT ACTION
MR. WILL THORNE'S DENUN-
CIATION.
(UNITED PRBSS ASSOCIATION. —COPYRIGHT.)
(AUSTRALIAN - NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, 31st July.
Speaking at the conference of the Social Democratic Federation, Mr. Will Thome, M.P. (General Secretary of the National Union of General Workers), denounced direct action as a means of achieving the ideal social democracy. He said that sane and sound advocacy of the principles of social democracy would outlast all the direct actionist will-o-the-wisps, which lead to anarchical swamps and morasses.
