DIRECT ACTION

MR. WILL THORNE'S DENUN-

CIATION.

(UNITED PRBSS ASSOCIATION. —COPYRIGHT.)

(AUSTRALIAN - NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, 31st July.

(General Secretary of the National Union of General Workers), denounced direct action as a means of achieving the ideal social democracy. He said that sane and sound advocacy of the principles of social democracy would outlast all the direct actionist will-o-the-wisps, which lead to anarchical swamps and morasses.
