MINISTER INDUCTED

The Presbytery of Wellington met in Kent-terrace Church last.evening to induct the Rev. James Baird, M.A., a young minister, who has already done good work in Eaetihi, to the charge. The Moderator, the Rev. J. A. M'Kenzie, presided, and conducted the induction ceremony. The Rev. R. H. Catherwood preached from Ist Corinthians, 12----27, while the Rev. R. Inglis addressed the minister, and the Rev. A. Bruce Todd the congregation. At the close, Mr. Baird was introduced to the members as they retired.
